Planetquake has announced that TEAM 3 has a new member, 'Big Ones' who runs the site, www.planetquake.com/mahq has joined TEAM 3 - checkout TEAM 3 at www.planetquake.com/3/ .

Do you wish to have a friend bot in Quake III Arena? well now you can with BOT BULDING 101. Its a program which allows you to create all the itty bitty bits of the bots personality. News from PLANETQUAKE that they have the Q3A Point Release BETA 2 files for both PC and MAC.

Also more news from PLANETQUAKE is that www.quake3mods.net has released their 17th Tutorial for Q3Radiant - Making doors in Q3Radiant.

Other news from Planetquake is that Teamwar have released a couple of new Teamplay Maps - but also that Team Abuse's 3 Map pack (www.teamabuse.com) is being concidered by the CPL for the maps to be used as competition maps.

Well i spent most of today fixing this site up, i had a complaint that the site was too big (in res.) so i've redone the site at 800x600 and also redesigned the site, and some images.

News from PLANETQUAKE, that the Beta 2 of point release for Quake 3 Arena has arrived. This file will upgrade your Quake 3 Arena from 1.11 to 1.15b. Get it at ftp://ftp.idsoftware.com/idstuff/quake3/win32/beta/q3pointbeta2.exe.

Bugs fixed in the point release:

-Control menu works properly -Pure server connection notification -2D Armor icon appears properly -.arena files are accumulated properly across pk3 files -A few other smallish fixes.

Well it seems that the site has got a good start. I've been able to upload 2 files so far, Socom.zip - AVI file or the pistol for Action Quake 3 and Nrk.zip - Nrk Model for Quake 3 Arena and one of the best skins i've seen so far, Quad Maniac Skin (previewed left) for the Visor Model.

I went through Quake 3 Arena again the other day (all 7 Tiers) and attempted Xearo on Nightmare - IF ANYONE CAN BEAT THAT! SEND A PIC IN OR TELL ME HOW! I found him impossible on nightmare, I could only beat him on the third difficulty, but I havent attempted playing him on the 4th difficulty.

3dpalette.com are holding a skin contest for Quake 3 Arena. 3 lucky people will walk away with the Razer Boomslang 1000. If your a mad Quake 3 Arena skinner, i'd suggest checking em out - www.3dpalette.com/features/q3skincontest/. Thanks to Planetquake for that bit of info.

Team Abuse has released new teamplay maps for Quake 3 Arena. Goto www.teamabuse.com to grab em. They also have teamplay updates for the following maps: Q3DM6, Q3DM7, Q3DM12 and Q3DM14. Thanks to Planetquake for th that info.
